All projects over $1000 will require a 50% down payment to be scheduled. If material cost are high, you may be asked to put down a greater amount.
All reoccurring work is set to auto pay. Customers store a card on file on a secured link only they have access to. Once filed, your services may begin and your account will only be billed if the service was completed. After pictures can be sent with the receipts. Refund can be given within 10 business days if any payment mistakes happen.
All work is weather permitting. We DO NOT hold keys, go through people's houses on routes to reach the back, have copies of garage door openers etc. We are gardeners and landscapers. We will lose them.
Lawn Services
- Lawn Maintenance: Your property will on a set schedule either weekly or biweekly. If a service is missed for weather reasons, we will try to get your mow in within the same week but it might be pushed to the next mow day. We are not responsible for any objects left in the lawn during mowing. Damages to mowing equipment from unnecessary objects left in lawn subject the owners to be billed for damages. If service bill is not collected by the next service date, the service will be canceled.
- Lawn Applications: Lawn applications like fertilizer, seed, or granular aeration must have water and moisture to work. If proper moisture isn't given it can lead to lawn burning and sed death. We are not responsible for any applications after we apply them.
- Core Aeration: Irrigation must be marked for best chances of not hitting heads. We stay 6 inches from the edge to stay away from the heads. We are not responsible for any damaged heads during Core Aeration.
- Sod Installation: AOS is not responsible for sod after it has been laid. We do offer an insurance policy Sod Warranty which covers 4 care visits, for the first month, to check up on your sod and make sure its doing what its suppose to. Sod does usually die brown on the edges before rooting an turning green again so do not fear if you see this.
Garden Services
- Gardening Maintenance: We have two ways to schedule garden maintenance.
- If your on our mow route and opt for gardening services, we will bid out your next garden maintenance on mow day. The following day we will send the estimate to you for your approval. If approved, it will be scheduled for the following week. While the gardeners are there, the will double check anything else and if sound, send estimate for approval. After work is completed, your account will be billed for the agreed amount.
- If you just have garden maintenance, we have a minimum charge to come out. Usually, we keep the min charge under $55. This may not be enough to do all the task needed in the garden so we will also use this time to look over the garden and come up with a detailed maintenance list for that time. Once you accept the estimate, we will schedule the work. Once completed, we will bill your account for the agreed amount.
- Weeding: We only say we will get 95% of the weeds off an agreed area and its up to the customer to prove otherwise.
- Mulching: Mulch is charged by yard. If mulch estimate is short, we will charge for the additional yardages used but not the added delivery if under the 15 yard threshold. We do not guaranty weeds will not grow unless you get a new instalment of weed mat that we provide.
- Planting: We do not guarantee any plants but do guarantee their planting. With our planting insurance we will take pictures of every plants planting to insure we plant them correctly should a problem arise. If a plant dies, its most likely because of the microclimate of the soil and space around it.
Snow Removal and Ice Managment
- Plowing and Shoveling: Snow will be removed within 7hrs of last snowflake. If Ice management is purchase, ice melt will be applied. We are not responsible for slip and falls on customers property. Ice melt is not applied to grouted areas. We are not responsible for any ice melt damages. If uneven surfaces damage equipment, homeowners may be billed for the damages.
